Information about Grundfos UNILIFT AP12.40.04.3 Submersible Pump
The Unilift AP and Unilift AP Basic ranges of submersible drainage pumps are designed for use in both temporary or portable installations as well as free-standing and permanent setups. These single-stage pumps are primarily made of stainless steel. All models are available in both single-phase and three-phase versions, as well as versions for 50 or 60 Hz power supply frequencies. The number included in the type designation (for example, AP12) indicates the maximum particle size that can pass through the pump. All pumps in the Unilift AP and AP Basic ranges come with a plug for easy connection to the power supply. The single-stage Unilift AP pump range includes models with a semi-open impeller (AP12) or a vortex impeller (AP35 and AP50). All Unilift AP pumps feature a stainless steel sleeve used for cooling purposes during operation. The grid at the bottom prevents particles larger than the design size from entering the pump. The grid is secured to the pump housing with clamps. They can be supplied with or without a float switch and can operate in either automatic or manual mode. The letter -A- in the type designation of some pumps indicates that they are equipped with a float switch. Three-phase versions come with an additional starter box connected to the float switch. The Unilift AP Basic range consists of single-stage pumps (AP35B and AP50B) with a vortex impeller. All pumps in the Unilift AP Basic range are made of stainless steel, with a composite support plate.
